Arab Science Journalism in the Digital Age
The first conference organized by the Arab Network for Global Journalism, titled "Arab Science Journalism in the Digital Age," was held over two days, October 23-24, 2023, just before the COP27 Climate Conference in Egypt. The conference aims to create an effective communication environment between Arab journalists, researchers, and academics, especially in the environmental field. It seeks to expand the horizons of Arab media to access accurate information and reliable sources through a series of sessions and workshops focused on the importance of addressing climate change, health issues, and technology.
WCSJ - World Conference of Science Journalists
World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ) is one of the largest and most prestigious gatherings of science journalists from around the world. It is held every two years and covers a wide range of topics in science communication and journalism. Scientists, Journalists, amd communicators gathered in San Francisco in October 2017 for the 10th World Conference of Science Journalists to discuss the ethics of their professions. This session is a debate set up loosely resemble the United Kingdom's House of commons and encourage debate on touch ethical questions science journalists face in their work.
